Ramen Restaurants in Dallas

If you’re on the hunt for authentic ramen in Dallas, you’ll find that the city’s ramen scene has really stepped up in recent years. It’s not just about slurping noodles in a quick bite shop anymore. Places like Ten Ramen near Victory Park serve broth that’s simmered for hours, rich and deep but not overwhelming. I swear, the miso ramen there tastes like a warm hug on chilly evenings.

And then there’s Jinya in the Knox area, don’t skip their signature spicy chicken ramen. It’s got the right kick without knocking your socks off. The tonkotsu broth there is creamy, but not greasy, which is a tricky balance. If you’re visiting in the summer, grabbing a chilled noodle bowl at Kazunori in Uptown is a nice way to stay cool and satisfy your ramen craving at the same time.

Pro tip? Go early or be ready for a short wait, especially on weekends. Many spots fill up fast, but honestly, it’s worth it. Oh, and if you want something less typical, try Ramen Hakata in Plano, worth the short drive. Dallas ramen is definitely more than just noodles; it’s a cozy, soul-soothing meal that’s found a genuine foothold here.

Ramen spots worth your time

If you’re staying around Uptown or Knox, Jinya is a reliable pick with a menu that balances classics and twists. For me, Ten Ramen is the real deal when I want authentic tonkotsu that feels like it’s been perfected over years. And heads up: weekend evenings get busy fast. Grab a spot before the crowd or hit places like Kazunori for lighter options and a no-fuss atmosphere.

A quick local tip: Parking can be tricky downtown, so grab a rideshare or park a little further away when you head to the ramen joints near Victory Park.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to common questions about Dallas ramen spots.

Ten Ramen near Victory Park is my go-to for tonkotsu. Their broth is creamy without being too heavy, and the noodles have the right chew. If you want to venture a bit farther, Jinya’s tonkotsu is solid too.

Absolutely. Jinya in Knox Henderson serves a spicy chicken ramen that’s got just the right amount of heat, not so much that it overwhelms the other flavors. It’s a favorite of mine when I want a little kick.

Yes, places like Ten Ramen and Kazunori have vegetarian broth options and vegetable toppings. It’s not always easy to find vegan ramen, but calling ahead helps, especially since some spots customize their broths on request.

Lunch tends to be less crowded, especially on weekdays. But if you’re craving ramen for dinner, try to get there early or expect a wait. Dinner vibes are more chill if you don’t mind the buzz.

Most of the dedicated ramen spots in Dallas, like Ten Ramen and Jinya, use fresh noodles made locally or in-house. It really makes a difference in texture and taste compared to the packaged stuff.
